About GCSE Maths Mentoring

GCSE Maths mentoring is designed to help students strengthen their understanding of key mathematical topics while preparing effectively for their exams. The sessions support both Foundation and Higher tier students, ensuring that each learner receives guidance suited to their level and academic goals.

A major focus of the programme is past paper practice and exam strategy, helping students become familiar with the types of questions they will encounter in GCSE exams. Lessons also focus on targeted improvement on weaker topics, ensuring that gaps in knowledge are identified and addressed through clear explanations and structured practice.

Alongside academic support, mentoring places strong emphasis on confidence building for exam conditions. By practising real exam questions and developing strong problem-solving approaches, students gain the skills, confidence, and exam readiness needed to perform at their best in GCSE Maths.
